When people break out of their routines and retreat from everyday distractions, they find space to think about their lives and discover hope for their future. At camp, they are surrounded by people who care about their journey and take the time to listen. They experience the beauty of creation and breathe in fresh air. They make friendships that last a lifetime.
Whether you are organizing a private retreat for youth, families or adults, Camp Lakodia offers a meeting place for these kinds of life-changing moments. A variety of lodging and meeting facilities provide comfortable spaces for your group to learn, grow, and play together. Our staff will help you determine the best use of our facilities for your needs.
Someone last weekend damaged another of our watercraft. Between the damage and the theft of Camp Lakodia property, it is becoming extremely difficult to offer any free amenities. It saddens me that people cannot be more patient, and kind in words and deeds. We are only at the beginning of our summer and have had damage to our firepits and other areas of the grounds. Someone removed a firepit from a cabin and placed it on the beach, throwing glass bottles and splintered wood in it. On the beach. Where kids run barefoot. If you would like to bring your own watercraft when you visit us, you are welcome to do so. We no longer have watercraft or paddles for guests to use. Glass bottles are not allowed on the grounds and never have been. #berespectful#bekind#beunderstanding... See MoreSee Less
